Mi Otro Yo

Teetering on the brink of the absurd, “Mi Otro Yo” blends magic tricks, acrobaticsand movement theatre. It depicts a multi-faceted hero who is confronted with the unexpected, awash in contradictions. He plunges headfirst in a poetic and comic journey of self-discovery.

In his attempts at becoming free, the character betrays his own frailty. At times behaving like an animal — although not necessarily in ways one might imagine — he is a light-headed magician, doubling as an acrobat guided by his imagination.

In this quest for identity through the looking glass, the audience shares the hero’s anger, dreams and laughter. Illusion, movement, metamorphosis: welcome to Fake Identity Paradise.
